The Hudson Library’s annual Tween/Teen Pitch Night competition is in person this year during Hudson’s Global Entrepreneurship Week on Thursday, November 16th at 6:00 pm.
Ten finalists in grades 6-12 will be selected from a pool of online applications to pitch their business ideas to a panel of expert judges.
Online applications for this “shark tank” style program will be available beginning Thursday, October 4th with a deadline of Friday, November 3rd.
- Finalists will be notified by November 6th, and then must be able to produce a short – 2 minutes or less – video about their idea that they submit by November 13th. On Pitch Night, finalists will present the video and answer questions from the expert judges.
- First and 2nd place cash prizes will be awarded in two age groups – grades 6-7 and grades 8-12. There will also be an overall Audience Favorite award, voted on by participants and their guests. Students can apply individually or in a group of up to 3 students.
Applications are now closed. Please click the link above to attend the event as an observer.
