Is there a space available for individual or small group meetings?

The Hudson Library & Historical Society’s Laurel Lake Room is available for individual quiet study, group study, tutoring and small meetings (limit of 5 people) during library operating hours. The Laurel Lake room is located on the first floor of the library at the end of the art gallery hallway.

How do I reserve this space?

Reservations can be made 1 week in advance by calling the Reference desk at 330-653-6658 x1010, or using the reservation button below.

Study Room Policies & Procedures

Please read the policies and procedures for reserving and using this space. Failure to follow these rules and/or repeated failure to show up for your reservation may lead to loss of study room privileges. 

If you have not been vaccinated, please wear a mask when visiting the library. Some selected activities/services will require customers to wear masks regardless of vaccination status
Maximum of 7 people in the room.

Customer visits will be limited to four hours to allow the maximum number of people to access the building each day.
This room can be reserved only once a day per patron or group.

There shall be no reservations accepted more than one week in advance for the use of this room.
Customers may not bring food into the building. Covered drinks will be permitted in the building.
No selling of merchandise or profit making is permitted in this space.
Modification of the space or installation of decorations or visual props on walls or ceilings with tape and/or pushpins or any other installation that would result in damage to interior finishes is strictly prohibited.
