NOTICE: The Hudson Library is out of COVID-19 at-home test kits and is currently waiting to receive the next delivery. Please check back for updates.
What is the Difference Between the Proctored and Un-Proctored Tests?
Proctored Tests
- The15-minute BinaxNOW COVID-19 Ag Card Home Test kits, which have received FDA Emergency Use Authorization for at-home testing, are used in collaboration with a telehealth session.
- Individuals who want to be tested will need to create an account using the NAVICA smartphone app or at www.mynavica.abbott.
Un-Proctored Tests
- DO NOT require a telehealth session; they are conducted at home and are for personal use.
- DO NOT produce a documented result that can be used for travel, to return or stay in school, or be released from quarantine in Ohio.
Ohio Department of Health & eMed’s “Test-to-Treat” Option
The Ohio Department of Health is partnering with eMed to offer a virtual
“test-to-treat” option that can quickly connect individuals to testing and a
prescription to secure COVID-19 treatment.
It is important to note that the proctored tests with the clinical evaluation are only temporary through the Holiday season.

Where Do I Pick Up My COVID-19 Test Kit?
The BinaxNOW COVID-19 AG Card Home Test kits can be picked up at the library’s drive-up window during open hours. Test kits will not be distributed inside the building.
*Please note: If you are feeling sick or have symptoms, designate someone else to pick up the test.
How Many Test Kits Can I Obtain Through the Library?
Since demand for testing is high, the at-home testing kits are available on a first-come, first served basis, with a limit of 2 kits (4 tests) per household. The library cannot guarantee test kit availability; please check the library’s website for the latest updates.
