The Hudson Library & Historical Society will host a live virtual streaming event with Hugo Award-winning science fiction author John Scalzi on June 24 at 7 p.m. Scalzi will discuss his latest book, The Last Emperox, the thrilling conclusion to the award-winning, New York Times and USA Today bestselling epic space opera adventure series. Kirkus Reviews calls the book “punchy, plausible, and bittersweet; studded with zingers until the very last line.”

To become a Friend, download the Friends of the Library Sponsorship Form, select a sponsorship level of your choice and return the form to the library along with your donation. Your degree of participation is up to you. Your donation will help the Friends work on behalf of the Hudson Library & Historical Society. The Friends of the Library gratefully accepts donations for book sales. We do not accept: magazines, and encyclopedias. Donated items can be left in the bin outside the book room door at the entrance of the Library. Donate your items to the Friends and we can assure you the reward will be two-fold: The next reader gets enjoyment and the Hudson Library benefits from the proceeds we earn through our book sales.
