Author Richard Munson will discuss his latest book, Tesla: Inventor of the Modern. Drawing together details from letters, notebooks and other primary sources, the book reveals the personal life and mindset of an underappreciated genius--a man who drew up designs for the Internet, cell phones and wireless charging a century before their common use. His story is a reminder that technology can transcend the marketplace and that profit is not the only motivation for invention.

The Friends of the Library gratefully accepts donations for book sales. We do not accept: magazines, and encyclopedias. Donated items can be left in the bin outside the book room door at the entrance of the Library. Donate your items to the Friends and we can assure you the reward will be two-fold: The next reader gets enjoyment and the Hudson Library benefits from the proceeds we earn through our book sales. Keep reading and remember us when you turn that last page.
