New Catalog website

 

The Hudson Library & Historical Society’s public online catalog will have a fresh new look this summer.  Patrons will see changes to the website as well as some new features.  Our new online catalog will promote more of our electronic media including OverDrive and Hoopla items, and the CLEVNET app will be replaced by the BookMyne mobile app.  Most notably, patrons of the Hudson Library & Historical Society will be able to see items currently available at the library much more easily.

FAQ:

Why are we switching to a new catalog?

Our new catalog will offer many of the same features with some additions. Now, search eMedia and physical materials in the same place.  Download OverDrive and Hoopla without leaving the catalog (one click download), and see both emedia and phsyical checkouts in your “My Account” screen.

 

Will I need to register with the new catalog?

No, you will not need to register.  Simply enter your library card number and PIN to log in.

 

What about the CLEVNET mobile app?

The current app will be replaced with a product called Bookmyne (available for both Android and iOS). Please note: the CLEVNET app is now deactivated.

 

What does the “Text This To Me” button do?

It will send you a text message containing a short link to the record in the catalog, the title, author, call number, and library. You will need to enter her or his cell phone number and service provider. There is also an “Email” option in the “Select an Action” dropdown.

 

What about My Shelves and lists, username, reviews, and other content I’ve created in Bibliocommons?

We are working to migrate the lists/shelves and usernames into the new catalog. Reviews, tags, and ratings will not migrate.
