Enrich Your Life by Volunteering

There are select opportunities at the Hudson Library & Historical Society for individuals willing to give back to the Library with their time. The Library is particularly interested in the following;

  • Circulation Volunteer: Duties include organizing and inventorying collections, pulling damaged materials, outdoor weeding, light cleaning and more. Time commitment is a minimum of two hours a week, during weekdays.
  • InterLibrary Loan: Assist the Inter-library loan staff in readying materials for deliveries to other libraries and receive/sort items arriving in the morning delivery. If you like to keep busy, are able to bend and lift boxes, and can offer a minimum commitment of two morning hours per week, we’d love to have you.
  • Friends of the Library Book Store Assistant: Sort and separate book donations and provide sales assistance at their regularly scheduled book sales. Time commitment is a minimum of two hours a week.
