The Hudson
Library has received a $5,000 grant
from Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management--Hudson Office to provide
funding for the summer reading program. This corporate
sponsorship gives the Library the opportunity to offer a variety of
exciting children's programs for this summer. In addition, the
Library will be able to offer great incentives to reward the
children for their reading efforts. Some of the grand prizes
include a boy's and girl's bike, a jumbo craft kit, a giant stuffed
animal and a Storybook City wooden play set for younger children.
Some of the new programs that
Merrill Lynch’s sponsorship has
made possible include a
“Chalk the Walk” art
program,
Games Day Fridays,
craft programs, and the
Caterpillar and Butterfly Club
which will feature a giant caterpillar/butterfly
habitat in the Children’s
Library |
