
The Hudson Library & Historical Society’s Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship Research will again be offering a mini-series of more advanced (Level II) programs for the small business community, as part of the Winter/Spring Entrepreneurship Series. This MBA Lite four –part series will have two workshops in January and two in February.
MBA-Lite: Manage Your Business will be the focus of this series. Faculty will be from area colleges and universities. The leadoff session on Wednesday, January 11, will be “Managing Your Investors/Shareholders” with Patrick Gaughan, Business Community Liaison/ Instructor at Youngstown State University; “Rethinking Intellectual Property Strategy: The Impact of the America Invents Act” will be offered on Thursday, January 19,with Colin Drummond, Ph.D, Director of the Coulter-Case Translational Research Partnership at Case Western Reserve University; on Wednesday, February 1, Leo Plante, Goodyear Executive Professor at Kent State University, will present “Financial Decision Making” and the final session on Wednesday, February 8, is “Mindsets of the Entrepreneur” with David Kukurza, Academic Program Director in the Center of Integrated Entrepreneurship at Hiram College.
Registrants will be asked to attend each session in the mini-series in order to earn a certificate after completion. The programs will begin at 6:30 p.m. with seventy-five minutes of teaching time, followed by questions and answers.
