The Hudson Library & Historical
Society now carries foreign language
materials including books and DVDs in several different
languages. We have over 450 books
in languages including French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese,
Korean, and Hindi in both fiction and
non-fiction. We also carry
magazines and juvenile books in
Chinese and Japanese. The
collection comes to us through the
courtesy of the Cleveland Public
Library’s Foreign Literature
Department, and the collection
changes every four to five weeks.
We welcome your requests for
particular types of books or for
books in other languages.
Visitors to the Hudson Library &
Historical Society can also obtain
books and audiocassette tapes in any
of the 45 languages available at the
Cleveland Public Library. We have
lists of recently received books to
assist you in your selection. We
will gladly place orders for the
materials you request: in most
cases, your order will arrive within
one week.
