Hudson Library Cooks!

The Hudson Library and Historical Society continues with the cooking series of classes January-May 2008.  Presented by Chef Susan Townsend, the programs will consist of cooking demonstrations of various recipes that will compliment the different seasons of the year in which they take place.   Not only will you learn to make the dishes but you will be able to taste them as well.

Recipes from Past Programs

The first program in the 2008 Series is presented on January 10th at 7pm,  entitled “It's a Mystery”.  Chef Susan will recreate recipes cited in murder mystery novels: Dark Tort by Diane Mott Davidson; Sweet Revenge by Diane Mott Davidson; Murder on the Menu by Miranda Bliss

The second program, which will be presented on Tuesday, February 5th at 7:00 p.m. is entitled “Fat Tuesday Feast”.

On March 11th at 7:00 p.m. the program will be “Chocolate Extravaganza”.

On April 1st at 7:00 p.m. Chef Susan will get in the Spring mood with "Super Supper Salads".

Finally, the cooking series will conclude May 6th at 7:00 p.m.  Chef Susan will start the summer off early with "Grilling on the Patio".  This program is planned for outdoors on the Library's Patio, weather permitting.
