FINANCIAL PLANNING

Stocks, Sweets and Retirement Strategies

During the month of April the Hudson Library and Historical Society will hold two financial seminars on the timely topics of portfolio management and retirement, while offering desserts to sweeten the subject.

On Wednesday, April 23rd at 7:00 pm, Bill Garten and Paul Douglas  will review diversification strategies and address your questions regarding risk and return in today's volatile stock market in "Has the Market Rebalanced Your Portfolio for You?".  Learn the importance of selecting stocks in different industries and geographic regions and what might be the right mix of investments for your portfolio. Desserts provided.

The following Wednesday, April 30th at 7:00 pm, these same two professionals will offer their  advice in "Achieving Your Retirement Vision".  Effective planning and decision-making, both for and during retirement, will be discussed. Again, desserts will be provided.

These programs are free and no registration is necessary.  For further information, please call Ellen Smith, Head of Reference and Archives at 330.656.6658 ext. 1054, or visit the library's website at www.hudsonlibrary.org.
