Who We Are:

The Friends of the Hudson Library are a voluntary organization committed to supporting the library in all of its endeavors, and to broaden the scope of services and activities.  Since 1951,  the Friends' goal has always been the same:  To be a group organized to better the services of the library to the community."

Friends of the Library Need your Help!
We are grateful for all types of books donated for our use!  Donate your items to the Friends and we can assure you the reward will be two-fold.  The next reader gets enjoyment and the Hudson Library benefits from the proceeds we earn through our book sales.  Keep reading and Remember us when you turn that last page.

Join Us!

Every Fall is the annual membership drive for The Friends of the Hudson Library & Historical Society.   We are hoping you will join us not only in membership but also in volunteering.  We need sorters to decide the best donated books to put on our shelves in the book sale room and sales persons for the days of the sale.  We also invite your input on activities for fund raising for our scholarship fund and for equipment and services that  we provide for the library.

Why join the Friends?  Across the country, Friends groups support libraries in ways that keep the institutes special, and Hudson's Friends group is a prime example.  From sponsoring special event for Adults and children to funding an Instructional Computer Lab, the Friends have assisted in bringing more services to our patrons.
If you have questions about becoming a Friend, please call Nancy Nightingale 330-656-2297 or Nancy Kolodgy 330-650-0318.

Please print out the form below and return it to the Hudson Library with your check.
