Bassoon Duo Performs

The warm and agile tones of a pair of bassoons will fill the Hudson Library & Historical Society’s rotunda on Sunday,
March 28 at 2:00 p.m. when bassoonists Cari Dubiel and Margaret Reagan perform works by Weissenborn, Devienne,
de Boismortier, Schobert, and Roth.

Cari Dubiel and Margaret Reagan are bassoonists with the Western Reserve Community Band, which is based in Hudson.
Ms. Reagan, a special education teacher, studied bassoon at Baldwin-Wallace College and Ashland University with
Renee Dee. She is also a member of the Stow Symphony Orchestra.  Ms. Dubiel is a librarian at Twinsburg Public Library.
She played bassoon in the Hiram College Band and has studied chamber music with Paul Dreisbach.

This free concert is one of many special events being offered throughout the year in celebration of the Hudson Library’s
centennial anniversary. All ages are welcome and no registration is necessary.
