The World Within: C.G. Jung
In His Own Words

The Swiss
psychiatrist, Carl Jung leaves a legacy of wide-ranging
investigations into the workings of the human psyche that has left
its
mark on our culture beyond the field of psychiatry. In his work,
which spanned the first half of the twentieth century, Jung showed
that
we are innately creative and his theory of the creative power of
dreams continues to influence both therapists and artists today.
In honor of
Jung’s birthday, July 26 1875, we will be showing a unique film
created from video interviews with Jung in the late 1950’s.
The World Within: C.G. Jung In His Own Words features Jung
discussing many of his major ideas with examples from his long
experience of the workings of the human psyche.
A discussion
of the film will be moderated by David Palomo, M.A., Ed.S. David
received an MA in counseling psychology from
Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara where Jung’s psychology
is central to the program; he also holds a degree in counseling
from Kent State and is on the board of the C.G. Jung Education
Center of Cleveland.
