THINK
LIKE A HUMAN RESOURCE PERSON TO LAND THAT NEXT JOB
The Hudson Library and Historical Society and
Hudson Job Search are co-sponsoring a job search workshop on
February 4 at 7p.m. The presenter is Laura George, author, job
search coach and President of LHG Consulting Inc.
George will be presenting a workshop based on
material from her book, Excuse Me, Your Job is Waiting. The
book incorporates the Law of Attraction with traditional job search
techniques. She is a former human resource professional and will
discuss how human resource departments weed out resumes, flush out
incorrect data, and why it pays to be well-connected. Her goal in
the workshop is to have you, “begin to think like a human
resource person and broaden your knowledge of how employers choose
candidates.”
Ms. George has worked at a Fortune 100
Company, mid-sized companies, and
small companies. She knows firsthand how each recruits and why it's
important to take company size, structure, and product into
consideration when job seeking.
The workshop is free and open to the public. No
registration is required. For more information contact Joe Rusnak
with Hudson Job Search at 330/328-1951 or the Reference Desk at the
Hudson Library and Historical Society, 330/653-6658 x1010.
