Hudson Library Selected as an ALA

This past November, the Hudson Library & Historical Society received national recognition once again for the exceptional service it provides to our community. The Library Journal Index of Public Library Service reviewed 7,268 libraries nationwide and selected the top 258 performing libraries in the country.Libraries were chosen based on how effectively they delivered various services. Output measurement criteria included: the number of items borrowed; the number of customer visits; the number of programs offered/ customer attendance at those programs and public Internet usage. While no rating system can truly capture the important role public libraries play in our rapidly changing world, this national recognition has inspired us to set the bar even high as we strive to provide the highest level of service to our customers. |
